Blockchain Verte, or Green Blockchain, combines GreenTech and Tech4Green to notarise the treatment of climatic data collected by low-cost sensors deployed in urban areas. We focus on the issue of digital frugality in the context of the environmental objectives of the Paris Agreement, and the European infrastructure for the observation of the carbon cycle, called ICOS.
